I STARTED RIGGING!! yay!

I am now combining Marion's body to the bodice.
then, I still have to do Noir's blendshapes and get the cloth right.

I did a leg lift test thing for her nCloth skirt, its nice :)

I FINALLY figured out the UVs and mapped it somewhat properly. this took a LOT of tries and unfoldings and cutting and sewing.........omg

So yeah, notice im not showing the back of her head, cuz...its not the nicest view. haha.

the uv-ing is still kinda messy. but this was the best i could do for today.

Sooooo, i have to just finish modelling and UV-ing my stuff and start animating. Only later can i think about my lighting and cloth simulation and strings. yep

so, i have been tweaking Marion and FINALLY, i like how she looks now.
working on Noir now.

Been adding stuff to the stage too, i quite like it :D but there are still a lot of stuff i need to do.

I felt like i did not do much work last week, which is really bad,
just been tweaking the models here and there; not really getting the look i want, especially Marion's hair. sigh.

HAVE to focus on animatics now though, thank GOD they pushed it back.

anyway, made changes on Marion's face. Alan suggested putting lines going down from the nose to the mouth. her cheek looks better. Her hair is giving me problems though.

Changing Noir a little bit more then I have to continue on the stage.

Yay!! I kinda finished modelling Noir. I have yet to do his hair and "stich" the arms to the body.
I have to model Marion's hair as well as background AND do animatics....damn...

Naf is going to do her animatics in 3D, i wish i was as fast as her, then I could do the same thing...k, hoping.

Alan told me I should go for counselling. ahahahahah. Right now, "Dancing" by Elisa is inspiring me, very very nice lovey song :)

Showed Alan my model, he likes it. yay. though I have to do something about it not being completely mirrored. But, so far its nice. and Raj thinks so too. yay, thanks so much. I also showed Alan my clown design, it creeped me out as I was drawing him out. I think I should name him as well, I mean, its not fair that Marion gets a name right...yeah. Alan said that he imagined my clown looking like what I drew out. yay.

K, cool, I found a name. Noir. It means black in French. I'm making Noir black and white because...well, he was sort of like, a representation of evil in the story, or not "evil" per-say but something taking you out of your natural being....I hope this is understandable. anyway, the name is just for naming sake.haha.

Jesher, Wayne and Diana are helping me with music. THANKS. and Mel is helping me with the dance. Love you guys.

K, my schoolmates are Friiiikkkkssss. yes, halloween around the color and the year 1s are going around in cosplay clothes....eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. k, im so sorry cosplay people but, no matter what, if you ALREADY have ugly hair, you DONT DO NOT DO NOT wear black lipstick. o man...ahahhahhahaha

anyway, finished my storyboard yesterday YAY. and i was not drunk!! modelling Marion now, still doing the face. There's like, not many people in school.....hmm...Rae!! Naff!! Tri!!!!! i miss u guys!! ahhahahahh

I realized that I did not even write out what my story is about. well......you'll just have to ask me :)

Anyway, I think i'll put "falling slowly" on this, cuz, my blog is looking so damn boring. AND i'll show the world what my first ever story was like, just looked back at it yesterday. haha, see if you get it. I also found my other old stuff I did during "drawing for animation" and my sketchbook then, there was also another story I was thinking of doing,t his christmasy one. yeah

AND i've put a tag board,so TAG! i still dont know if anyone is reading this. o well. cheap thrillsfor myself then.

Week 1

Falling Slowly

So here again, something that I normally would not do, blogging. I dont even know if anyone is gonna read this, so its really weird as I'm typing it out now.........

anyway, so,the first week of FYP has started!!! omg

and, spoke to Alan on Monday and Thursday. and Alfie on Wednesday. Was put into groups, so mine is Jarrold, Naf, Rae and I. Alan likes my story, though he decided that it was better to eliminate the girl. It kinda changes the hidden message I had behind my story, but the gist is still there. yeah. So far, only 2 people have gotten the hidden message, the rest just interprets it their own way. I like that, I mean, its good (well, to me) when so many people look at the same thing, but their beliefs and values changes the way they interpret it. its cool.

Anyway, the final story I have now, has been developed since last year; I think if Alan had said no to my idea, I would have killed myself. anyway, the first ever story I seriously had to change cuz it was fitting for like those, indie artsy fartsy movies, like, why would i want to do something like that when im doing animation, lets go a bit wilder, you know..yeah. I actually really liked the first ever idea and I drew out a "scene" i had envisioned, its on my deviantart if anyone is reading this http://www.kk2810.deviantart.com/, titled "falling slowly"

Anyway, I was surprised that people like my story, still am, I mean, its very simple and all. When i was consulting Alfie, I asked him A question and he shot me 10 back. o man. yeah. he came up with another story revolving around the characters i had in mind though, its really nice, but I decided that I couldnt really connect and understand the lead character as much.

So, for this week, i kinda started researching and all. and its really disturbing about Andreas completing a lot of things already, trying not to think about it right now. I planned out my timetable, and started drawing character sheets. Really scared about the 3d thing. I mean...ITS 3D o mannn. yeah, scared but very excited about it. God help me.
I went to the library to do research, my new meditating ground, a place where i can feel at ease, inspired and left alone. yep. and I was looking at those puppet books...i think im going to get a nightmare by the end of FYP. cuz im scared of puppets AND clowns...o dear, Izak actually said i might get over it instead. haha. we'll see how. I also found something totally....i dont know what word to use here. but i found those "behind the scenes" books AND this one was on Moulin Rouge, this movie never fails to inspire me. LOVE IT. and Ewan Mcgregor is.........swoonnnnn worthy. yeah.
From this, i decided that my "style" for FYP would be Paris 1899. i think. you know, those brulesque themes and all. love it. not completely sure though, still have more research to do. I started modelling the marionette's head too. Im also thinking of title-ing it "Le Belle Epoque" which means "the beautifull time". something like that, i dont have my sketchbook with me right now where I wrote all my findings.
